  20. Well, I finally did it.  I sold my trusty A4000/Toaster system today and 
  21. am typing my last batch of letters on it right now.  I defenitely need to 
  22. get me a PC now in preperation for LW 4.0.   I've done some shopping 
  23. around and I was hoping some of you who have done the same can give me 
  24. some insight as to what you think are the better systems.  I talked at 
  25. length with ZEOS and ZENON and they both "seem" to have nice systems for 
  26. around the $3,000 price range.  These systems include a 90 Mhz Pentium w/ 
  27. 16 megs Ram, Diamond Steath (Zeos) or ATI Mach 64 (Zenon), 15" monitor, 1 
  28. gig enhanced IDE HD, 4X speed CD ROM, and WIndows 3.11 software.  The 
  29. Zenon also comes with a sound card and modem.

  31. Any feedback on the above two systems?  Anybody you would reccomend 
  32. instead?

  34. If you had to choose between a Diamond Stealth or an ATI Mach 64, which 
  35. one would you choose?

  37. Also there has been mention of Trident vs neptune chips, and other 
  38. factors that I should consider.   Which are the better chipsets and what 
  39. are some important questions I should be asking?  I'm ready to buy today 
  40. if the system is available.  Oh, and I need a PC PAR to go with the 
  41. system (I have the HD).  Anybody looking for an Amiga PAR?  DPS won't do 
  42. trade ins.
